Dilahirkan sekitar medio april 2010. Awalnya, konsep AdiWarta.com adalah blog pribadi. Tapi dalam perkembangannya, Owner sekaligus Administrator mengubah konsep menjadi portal komunal. Portal yang kontennya bisa diisi oleh member portal.

Hingga saat ini AdiWarta dikelola secara pribadi dan belum berbadan hukum. Kedepan, AdiWarta.com rencannya akan dikelola secara profesional. Dengan semangat kebersamaan, laba yang diperoleh dari hasil operasi akan dibagikan kepada karyawan dan komunitas.

AdiWarta.com adalah portal berita, tips, panduan konsumen, konsultasi dan komunitas berbasis jurnalisme warga dan profesional. Pengelola situs menerapkan sistem poin untuk beberapa aktifitas yang dilakukan member di semua kanal, kecuali kanal toko.adiwarta.com. Poin digunakan sebagai acuan pembagian laba oleh pengelola situs.

Pengelola situs akan membagikan 50 persen laba kepada semua member aktif setiap tahunnya. Jumlah laba yang dibagikan ditentukan dalam Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham (RUPS). Laba yang dibagikan merupakan pendapatan yang diperoleh dari semua kanal, kecuali pendapatan yang diperoleh dari non-iklan.

Pengelola situs akan mereset poin setelah membagikan keuntungan kepada seluruh member.

Komunitas akan diikutsertakan dalam RUPS yang diwakili oleh 10 member dengan poin tertinggi, tidak termasuk redaksi internal dan kontributor resmi. Komunitas memiliki hak suara 50%. Hak 50 persen yang dimiliki oleh komunitas hanya hak suara dalam RUPS, bukan hak kepemilikan atas perusahaan.
